Yeah... I noticed that too. I really hate how diplomacy and peaceful solutions to anything is constantly dismissed by the narrative and all the characters we're supposed to agree with. Screw that hippy bullshit - just use force! Hell, you should even use threats and force over something as relatively minor as having a disagreement with your wife! Talking things out is for losers!
