*Some Jellies are "good" and help Kira because of Major Cheddar, convieniently not bearing resentment about her killing a bunch of them. Also, there is a genuinely interesting villain called the Seeker who disappears for the rest of the book. Lastly, the Staff of Blue could've really helped Kira solve some problems at the end of the book, which now ends on a cliffhanger for the sequel."
Wow. At least Soft Blade is memorably stupid. "Seed" is just boring.
And the word "seed" can mean something else.
