That's a good idea. It mixes up enough so it's original, but it also evokes feelings of a giant monstrosity. What's this WIP about?
I'm harsh, but this way puts me in a position to come up with original names that being vague such as "Staff of Blue", and not to rely on oversaturated and easy words such as "dreadnought".
A further challenge is to make the names sound cool. "Staff of Blue" just sounds lame. Hell, I'd expect it to make flowers bloom, and clear rain clouds, and stuff like that.

...it's a cliché in Sci-Fi to name a powerful starship, therefore I refuse to use it in my works.
Even The Last Jedi uses it.
