the seductive Yr
From what I've seen already, "seductive and bitchy" is pretty much Yr. And on "seductive", I remember she took the form of a cat because she wanted to be stroked as often as possible. Okay... Yr, we don't need to hear about your sexual stuff.

and the irrepressible brothers Ogden and Veremund
Yes. "Irrepressible" in the sense of "just won't shut the fuck up".

Jackass
The guy who kept calling Faraday "lovely lady", and who was very patronising. Don't miss him.

Zara
I think I like her most of the Sentinels. At least she isn't nearly as bad as the others. And I also feel for her because she's been trapped in a ruby for 2000 years, and can barely do anything before she dies.

I also have to say: these books feel really incoherent, especially the first trilogy. It really feels like reading four or five books simultaneously, and the whiplash in tone can be quite severe sometimes. Such as when the first chapter of StarMan is Jayme getting ploughed to death by Artor, and the next is Azhure training her Enchanter powers with "The Song For Drying Clothes". It really doesn't fit.
