This is only my interpretation, of course. You're free to interpret the destruction of an Eldunarí however you wish in your own fics. It could instantly kill any dragon, or it could cripple their magic, or it could have no physical effect but psychologically make them fear death more because they no longer have the option of retreating into their Eldunarí.
