Murtagh got caught for the zillionth time due to being a dumbass, which resulted in Thorn torching half the city and killing a bunch of people.
I'm so, so sick of how utterly repetitive this book is. Murtagh goes somewhere and does something stupid, gets caught, cue a big dramatic escape scene ad nauseum. There are other ways to put action and excitement in your books, Chris!
