Nearly six months after the "big announcement" was supposedly imminent, someone finally just asked.



Translation: it ain't happening. I'll bet that "inner fourteen-year-old jumping up and down just screaming with glee" has stopped screaming by now. Or at least he ain't screaming with smug excitement. 

Womp womp. Let us all mourn for the glorious trainwreck that could have been.

Sounds like the show is in developmental hell and he’s having a temper tantrum.

He definitely sounds pissed off to me. The former responses along the lines of "it's going great" and "I'm so excited" have gone the way of the dodo and now all we get is a brusque three word, non-specific response with all follow-up questions ignored before he quickly moves on with a bunch of unrelated tweets? Yeah, he's pissed.
