A few questions to ask

Oh Great and Mighty Lords that are the mod team of the community, I call upon ye!

Seriously, I don't know which one of you (Eps, Toryll, etc) to contact first in DM about my subject I'd like to share with the community, so I'll post right here, in public. Unless it's against the community's rules ...

I have an idea a sci-fi novel I'm working on for at least a decade. I have a beginning a middle and the end, but there are alot of stuff are missing, and I'm constantly modify/change/edit the worldbuilding to make it work. Although I love worldbuilding (I do all the times ;) ), this specific project is quite challenging.

How should I approach you guys with this ? What could be the best way to present it ? I don't want to dump everything here : my ideas would looks like an eccentric ramblings of a mad man. My plan is to give a rough premise and what I want to accomplish with this project in a few lines. So ... is it okay ?

What am I going with this ? I simply want some guidance from other fellow aspiring writers, and also the need for me to share, which IMO never been fond of. I jealously keep everything to me, especially my fictional stories. So the only way, if I want to progress and evolve as a writer, is to show it. Of course, I have someone outside the internet I can share it, but I want another extra pair of eyes and skills as well.

PS : is it safe to post fiction work on this platform (Dreamwidth) ? Yes, sounds like a weird question to ask, but I need to know.
