According to the links, the conditions on Venus 50 km from the surface are good - ideal pressure and sunlight, acidic atmosphere - but that could be mitigated by wearing an acid-resistant suit. The people could live on floating platforms filled with oxygen because that would be buoyant in the atmosphere of Venus.
