Writing advice needed

Preventative medicine is assuming greater importance as the medical community is realizing it is more effective (read much cheaper) to teach people how to prevent avoidable problems than to treat them. In that vein I need some writing advice. Think of the work you will be saving yourself should I turn out to be the next Paolini. How many hours of sporking can be avoided? Who knows?
