So a very long time ago, I found myself in a bookstore wandering around, and I went into the Young Adult section to see what I could see. I happened to find an anniversary edition of either
Eragon or
Eldest (I honestly can't remember) that had a whole bunch of special stuff in the back. There was a Q&A of how Paolini came up with his characters - Eragon is him, didn't you know! And the Ra'zac came about when he saw the giant shadow of a cricket on his wall! - a few drawings he did of Arya's tattoo and some other stuff. But what jumped out at me was the fact that there were omitted scenes included. To me, they were very special scenes, and they still are. So I took some pictures.
And then I promptly forgot they were on my phone.
A few days ago, I was going through my phone to delete old pictures of stuff I didn't need anymore and I rediscovered these special scenes, along with the other pictures of the interesting stuff in the back of that book. I figured I'd spork the scenes, and put them up for everyone's viewing pleasure. I don't know if these scenes are still contained within the self-published version that Pangolin is sporking, but if they are, I'm excited to see their opinion on them. If they're not, then these are something special, because I cannot find that version of the book anymore, not even on the internet.
Anyway, without further ado... enjoy the deleted scenes from
Eragon - Murtagh Edition!
