I still look forward to it. I know Consequence is a spit fic, but I love how it’s not just straight up hateful of even the worse book characters like Eragon, Saphira, Nasuada, Arya, etc. It just shows them for what they are. It could actually be cannon to the series dispite that it is leading to the destruction of the books orginal ‘heros’. I love that a black female dragon was first to be born back into the world. It is a call back to Shruikan but it also downs Saphira’s role as the last female dragon. I am making an adaptation of Eragon someday...someday... I get really torn on what to do on some of the series original issues. The main plot of Eragon’s arc can just be simplified down but the history of the riders, the dragons enslavement, eldunari, and the fall are the most most problematic of all.
