There's a lot of crossover between people who get a kick out of making fun of bad books and people who get a kick out of making fun of bad movies. If you're an MST3K aficionado, noted medieval warfare authority Kris Norge showed me this beauty the other day. Someone should alert the good people at The Agony Booth, because damn.

Date: 2018-10-06 06:06 am (UTC)The problem with any movie made with an agenda is that it's always going to be hilariously unselfaware, and therefore completely lacking in any sense of humour about itself. Which means all the comedy is unintentional and therefore extra hysterical. Even more so when they clearly couldn't afford proper sets, props and actors they didn't have to pick up from the local community theatre and pay in free sandwiches from the 7-11, and screenwriters who accepted pay in the form of an endless supply of cheap Scotch.
