Nearly six months after the "big announcement" was supposedly imminent, someone finally just asked.



Translation: it ain't happening. I'll bet that "inner fourteen-year-old jumping up and down just screaming with glee" has stopped screaming by now. Or at least he ain't screaming with smug excitement. 

Womp womp. Let us all mourn for the glorious trainwreck that could have been.

Considering how many (and better) fantasy series have been optioned and fallen through in recent years, this does not surprise me at all. But yes, part of me is morbidly curious about what might have been...

I admit I'm definitely feeling a bit disappointed. I was planning on holding an epic watch party with the other mods, with popcorn and everything!
