I'm partly sharing this because I just plain need to vent. WHY THE FUCK IS THRONE OF GLASS ON THIS LIST?!

To misquote Spoony: I'm sorry, I just can't get over that. It's just the wrongest thing that has ever been said in the entire history of the English language.

A "complex well-developed fantasy world"?! Cal is a "strong female lead"?! It's NOT all about the stupid romance?!

Okay. Okay, Epistler. Just go to your happy place. Deep breaths. Calm blue ocean, calm blue ocean...

Not that this isn't the only truly horrible entry on the list, mind you. The YA genre hasn't been around for all that long in the scheme of things, but by god it's produced some absolute turds. At least one person mentioned Eragon in the comments section too. No, that book does not "deserve" another movie adaptation. It was bad enough the first time around.
